AHHHH!!! Home from camp. It's really been very great, and I'm not really that tired. Well, of course I am a little. So anyway, no time n I'm too lazy to write it all down now. So let me just tell you about today.
First, some background info.
Wednesday was a day camp, then we were supposed to go back home and sleep forever, come back to church @ 5.30pm on Thurs, and we had an overnight thing until friday. YEAH!
So the overnight thing, today, yesterday, whatever. Firstly, we got to church, did some weird stretches, heard some sick stories, and went to eat dinner. Then we came back down and were merry and joyful singing "With Christ in the Vessel". THEN! haha. Suddenly this huge spotlight beamed right into my face, and Jerome (my grp POWER RANGERS! grp leader, by the way) came in shouting what I first thought as hysterically. He was dressed like and army person, and had this big stick. Next thing I knew, Matt was shouting for all the lights to go off and all these weird people in army suits came in, shouting very loudly in our ears for us to "Get down!!!" "Get down on your stomachs!" So yeah. A lot of ppl were laughing, some were crying, yeah. Then I felt this tap on my shoulder and this girls voice said, "Get up. Stand up, put your glasses in your bag and put on your bag." So I did, then I was made to put my hand behind my back. So I was like "OKAY!" then she blindfolded and cuffed me. Problem is, the blind fold got stuck in one of my eyes. It was okay, at first. Well anyway, I think cause I was bending down, trying to hide my smile:), people thought I was really scared or something. Like Ian(the Indian one) came up to me twice to tell me not to worry, everything was okay. I was okay okay, but the blindfold was getting into my eye. So we were brought to the carpark, and then Matt's voice asked me, "Are you okay?" And I said no, my blindfold was in my eye. So he told someone, "Charlotte, take her aside and redo her blindfold." So yes she did that, but it was still in my eye. So anyway, I sort of gave up, and we were led up to the foyer. Then we were weirdly sprayed with water (and were later dried, so I dont think it made any sense) I think they put vinegar then glue to our noses cause that was what everybody smelled. So yup, we sat there for say half an hour? I was one of the last, so the people I was with were put in the bus later.
So we went in the bus, and arrived. It took me awhile to figure out where we were. We were at Hort Park are. The Henderson Waves walk or something like....oh ya! The tree-top walk. Okay. Yes. I recognised the metal sound of the walk, and the kind of 3/4 ircle turns we were making. Although Kristy nearly let me die once. She forgot to tell me to turn right, so I nearly banged into the railing. We made it! finally! but there was still more to come.We walked all the way to Mt. Faber. And then the bus picked us up and we were on our way to the airport.
The bus was hilarious. Sam was not, as someone put it, talking in her "indoor voice", so yeah, it was PRETTY LOUD. We tried to play "I never"., but then the boys wanted to play and it was a failure, so we gave up.
Got to the airport. Matt finally explained to us why we were treated like that at the Grace Sanct. They were trying to mimic the persecution that Christians in diff countries were expiriencing, so that we could understand. I thought that was really meaningful, and good, although it was really uncomfortable, and some freaked out.
Okay, apparently the airport was also a mini amazing race. We had a change of group leader, Daniel, Eunice and Alisha. They first game was terrible! We had to slide ourselves on this slippery railing from on end to another. It was actually very tiring! Then we saw some people dancing. There was something very funny, which I will not mention. And the boys kept laughing about it till... i'm not sure. But anyway, it was great fun going around the various terminals and doing stuff. Except my eye acted up and it got all inflamed and painful. So I didn't have to do the garbage thing:) Thank God it's a lot better now! HAPPYHAPPYHAPPY.
Sorry. So we were the first grp. Then we went to cheers to buy food. And ended up being the last at the MRT station. Heh. loooooooooooong MRT ride home to church. A surprise--breakfast. And yup we went home. I really enjoy it, and thanks to the camp committee.

Okay, I'm talking and saying weird stuff cause I'm tired. I better go bathe. write more later.
